This is one of the best ways to reduce the number of craft products that you buy. You can use scraps from other crafts, use found objects, and reuse things that you find around your house. Packaging from today's consumer items can often be used for craft supplies tomorrow. Old bottles, cartons, cans, cardboard packages, pretty much all of it can be incorporated into your craft projects.

Of course, some projects require slightly higher quality materials or things that you can't find around your home. For these things, it is important to have a good source of discount craft supplies. There are basically two approaches. One of them is local, the others international. The local approach is simple. You want to see the resources available in the community you live in an exploit them to the greatest degree possible.
